Customer Service Associate – Warehouse Support

Job Description

As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for managing the entire customer experience process, including customer support, client file management, and accounts receivable follow-up. You will also provide all necessary administrative and operational support to warehouse activities. French is the primary working language. Knowledge of English is required only to communicate with customers, suppliers, and business partners located outside the province of Quebec.

Working Conditions
• Salary: $40,000 to $45,000 per year
• Duration: Long-term position
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Location: Montreal — easily accessible by public transportation
• Type of work: Office-based position with ongoing collaboration with the warehouse team

Responsibilities

Customer Service and Sales
• Welcome and assist customers at the sales counter
• Advise and support customers with inquiries and issues
• Manage customer files and ensure proper follow-up
• Promote products and services
• Handle special customer requests

Coordination and Follow-Up
• Prepare quotations tailored to customer needs
• Follow up on external repairs
• Coordinate calls for sales representatives when they are out of the office
• Collect and relay customer complaints or product feedback
• Conduct follow-ups to identify reasons for unrealized sales

Accounts Receivable
• Follow up on outstanding accounts
• Manage credit requests

Qualifications and Skills
• High school diploma
• Training or experience in customer service (asset)
• Relevant customer service experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage priorities effectively
• Experience preparing quotations (asset)
• Knowledge of the construction industry (asset)
