Automotive Parts Installer – Long Term Position
Job description
Our client is currently seeking an Automotive Parts Installer for a long-term position within a structured and professional work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various mechanical and electrical automotive components, including: roof racks, running boards, console drawers, handles, doors, mirrors, backup cameras, electrical systems, and exhaust systems. The position also involves driving new vehicles within a private site and performing any other related duties. French is the primary working language.
Working Conditions
- Salary: $28.00/hour + benefits after probation period
- Duration: Long-term position
- Schedule: Day shift, Sunday to Thursday (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
- Availability: Fridays and Saturdays as required
- Location: Montreal
- Type of work: Automotive workshop environment
- Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
- Install heated seats and automotive accessories
- Perform installation of mechanical and electrical components
- Drive new vehicles on a private site
- Inspect and ensure proper operation after installation
- Follow safety standards and manufacturer procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform all other related duties
Qualifications and Skills
- DEP in Mechanics
- CPA card (asset)
- Experience in automotive mechanics
- Experience installing electrical systems
- Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Strong attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- Reliability and punctuality
- Passion for the automotive industry
- Flexibility and availability between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. if required
- Good level of French
- Must have access to a vehicle to commute to work
